LET YOUR LITTLE FOOTBALL STAR DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS
The Stotfold Junior Development Centre offers weekly sessions for girls and boys between the ages of 3-7 of all abilities to develop their football skills.
Gaining a love of playing sport at a young age helps to set your child up to enjoy an active and healthy life. Our sessions also build confidence levels and develop the social skills of the youngsters we coach.
OUR PROGRESSIVE FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Stotfold Juniors Development Centre welcomes children of all abilities between 3-7 years old.
We nurture our mini football stars until the age of 7 – and are always incredibly proud when they ‘graduate’ to Stotfold Junior Football Club teams to continue the development of their sporting and social skills with the friends they have made.
RAIN NEVER STOPS PLAY!
We play at The Pendleton Sports Centre on state-of-the-art 3G all-weather pitches, with access to an indoor hall for our younger age groups to give your children the best experiences when they join us.
Meet The Coaches
Our experienced coaches have FA qualifications up to UEFA-B level, the highest available for grassroots football, and all are DBS/CRB checked. All have been involved with coaching youth football players for a number of years and are first aid trained to keep your children safe.
We are also keen to develop the next generation of coaches by helping local youngsters to become FA Qualified Coaches and support them as they begin their coaching journey.

🌟💖 STAR PLAYERS | DC WILDCATS 9–12 GROUP – FUTSAL 💜⚽
A huge well done to our DC Wildcats 9–12 Stars of the Week! 👏
This week, the girls had another great opportunity to develop their Futsal skills, working in a fast-paced environment that challenged their technique, movement and decision-making.
The session focused on dribbling and shielding, with the girls encouraged to keep their heads up, protect the ball and stay positive in possession.
They also worked on physical literacy and ball control, including movement in different directions, lots of touches on the ball and the lateral roll, helping them improve control, feints and shielding technique.
The girls then developed their passing range, working with both feet and focusing on good technique, balance and control before progressing into longer passing.
We finished with Futsal Small-Sided Games, giving the girls the chance to put everything into practice, rotate through different positions and continue developing their attacking and defending understanding.
⭐ Our Stars of the Week stood out for their effort, attitude, confidence and application, and they should be very proud of themselves.
Futsal continues to be a really important part of our player development programme, and it is fantastic to see the girls becoming more confident, composed and technically comfortable every time they step onto the court.
Parents, please help us celebrate this week’s Stars of the Week! 🙌💖⚽

🌟🧡 STARS OF THE WEEK | DC UNDER 7 & 8 GROUP 🧡⚽
A huge well done to our DC Under 7 & 8 Stars of the Week! 👏
The players put in another excellent session, showing great energy, confidence and enthusiasm throughout. It is brilliant to see how much this group is progressing, both technically and in their understanding of the game.
Our Stars of the Week really stood out for their effort, attitude and application, and they should be very proud of themselves. ⭐
We only managed to get a photo of one of this week’s winners, the others were so excited to tell their parents they had won that they ran off before we could grab a picture! 😄👏
That probably says everything about how much these awards mean to the players.
A massive well done to all of our winners, and to the whole group for another really positive week.
Parents, please help us celebrate all of this week’s Stars of the Week! 🙌🧡⚽

🔥🧡 STARS OF THE WEEK | DC UNDER 6 GROUPS 🧡🔥
Another brilliant session from our DC Under 6 Groups, with the players showing fantastic energy, confidence and enthusiasm throughout! ⚽👏
This week’s session had a strong focus on Ball Control, starting with some fundamental movement work to develop balance, coordination, agility and movement in different directions.
The players then moved into Ball Mastery, working on inside touches, heel & toe, outside touches, toe taps, inside/outside movements and sole rollovers. A big focus was on using both feet and becoming more comfortable manipulating the ball in different ways.
We also introduced the Step Over, helping the players understand how to use the move to get past an opponent and turn away from danger. It was brilliant to see so many of them giving it a go on both their right and left side.
The Splat game was a real highlight! 🔥
The players worked on shielding, turning and protecting the ball, learning to get side-on, use their body well and then escape into space rather than just standing still.
We finished with more 3v3 Small-Sided Games, giving the players the chance to put everything into practice and continue developing their understanding of attacking, defending and team shape.
⭐ A huge congratulations to our Stars of the Week, who stood out for their effort, attitude, confidence and willingness to learn.
The progress across the Under 6 groups continues to be fantastic to see, they are building strong foundations and becoming more confident on the ball every week.
Parents help us celebrate this week’s Stars of the Week! 🙌🧡⚽
